Description

An old temple established to pray for Minamoto no Sanetomo. The Hatto, rebuilt in 1797, enshrines a golden Shaka Nyorai as its principal image together with the Four Heavenly Kings and numerous other Buddhist statues. Although normally closed inside, a year-round reservation program allows visitors to directly view the images and experience the stately Zen hall.
