DescriptionDaikanmitsuji Temple is home to the Sendai Daikannon, a 100-meter-tall white Kannon statue standing on a hill in Izumi Ward, Sendai. Inside the statue, visitors can see statues of the Twelve Divine Generals, the Thirty-Three Kannon, and one hundred Kannon images. From the upper floors, there is also a view over Sendai and toward the Pacific Ocean.
