DescriptionThe principal image of Naritasan Nagoya Betsuin Daishoji, commonly known as Inuyama Naritasan, is Fudo Myoo. The temple was founded in 1953 as the Nagoya branch temple of Naritasan Shinshoji in Chiba, with the Main Hall completed that year. It has since become one of the major centers of Fudo devotion in central Japan, where goma fire rituals are performed every day. General visitors may worship the principal image in the Main Hall, and admission for ordinary worship is free.
