DescriptionThe Dharma Hall of Toyokawa Inari (Myogonji Temple) enshrines a Thousand-Armed Kannon Bodhisattva. The new principal image is 2.35 m high and contains the former principal image within its abdomen as a hidden inner Buddha. The official guide describes it as one of only four statues in Japan with more than one thousand actual arms. During the 72-year special opening in 2026, the Dharma Hall is specially opened to the public from November 1 to 23, allowing general visitors to view the image inside.
