DescriptionThe Kondo Keo-den Hall enshrines a 7.8-meter Eleven-Faced Thousand-Armed Kannon created by Kyoto Buddhist sculptor Matsuhisa Sorin. Made from Kiso hinoki cypress using joined-block construction, the monumental image sits solemnly in the hall, which was rebuilt in 1990 in a Kamakura-period Japanese architectural style. The Kondo is included in Natadera Temple's standard admission route and the image can be worshipped during regular opening hours.
