DescriptionThis wooden Amida Nyorai and two attendant figures are displayed in the Treasure Museum at Kai Zenkoji Temple. The triad places Amida Nyorai at the center with Kannon Bosatsu and Seishi Bosatsu on either side and is dated to the first half of the 12th century. It is one of two wooden Amida triads at the temple designated as Important Cultural Properties of Japan, and this set is open to visitors in the museum. The Kondo Hall and Treasure Museum are normally open for viewing, with admission accepted until 16:30.
