DescriptionMikamo Fudoson, at the southern foot of Mt. Mikamo, is a Shingon esoteric Buddhist prayer temple founded in 1998 and a branch temple of Senju Kannonji in Sano. The Main Hall enshrines Daisho Fudo Myoo as its principal image, with Enmei Jizo on the left and Kobo Daishi on the right. The temple’s official site lists visiting hours as 9:00–17:00 from March through October and 9:00–16:30 from November through February. Close to the Sano-Fujioka Interchange and Michi-no-Eki Mikamo, it is also introduced by Tochigi City’s official tourism information as an accessible sightseeing and worship destination.
