DescriptionThe Main Hall of Seikanji, standing in a quiet mountain setting in Higashiyama, enshrines an Eleven-Faced Thousand-Armed Kannon Bosatsu as its principal image. Located a little apart from the crowds of Kiyomizu-dera, the temple is also associated with the court lady Kogo-no-Tsubone.
