DescriptionAn old temple of the Shingon-shu Chizan-ha school on the slope of Mt. Tennozan. Tradition holds that Gyoki founded it at the request of Emperor Shomu, and it is affectionately known as “Takaradera.” The Main Hall enshrines an Eleven-Faced Kannon Bosatsu also known as Hashikake Kannon, quietly conveying the layers of faith and history rooted in Yamazaki.
