DescriptionZuishin-in is a Shingon monzeki temple closely associated with the poet Ono no Komachi. Its main hall enshrines a seated Nyoirin Kannon, an Important Cultural Property and normally concealed hibutsu. The hall also contains an Amida Nyorai in the Jōchō style and a Kongōsatta carved by Kaikei, both Important Cultural Properties. During special openings, visitors can enter the inner sanctuary and see the principal image. The courtly architecture and Komachi traditions give the temple a refined, contemplative atmosphere.
